Spottsville, Kentucky is a tiny town in Henderson County, in American Kentucky, by owning the population of about 2400 population.

Me Highway 60 cut across Spottsville. A Green River runs through Spottsville, & a Green River Lock & Damn is located in the city. If we travel across Spottsville, you could understand a Lock to your computers correct when you cross a Green Flow of any stream bridge; to your computers left, smart shoppers might view the turning bridge for trains (it turns when the barge comes through).

Spottsville school provided Henderson County's 1st school bus company within 1920. A 1st Spottsville school burned down inside March of 1932.

Spottsville was known as for Colonel Spotts. A vicinity was visited per Spanish explorer, Hernando de Soto, in 1541. His army was attacked touching a Ohio River by Indians of a tribe or even tribes known as diversely a Kashinampo, the Quizqui, and a Chisca.

From either 1904 to 1911 when many as 116 men of the Green River Coal Company mined coal in Spottsville. So a Pittsburg Coal Company operated a 75-human coal camp within Spottsville from either 1911 to 1924.
